Ms Lydia Chin
Growing up, Math was something I excelled in and loved doing. But when I got older, the teachers in school did not have the luxury of time to draw relevance of concepts to our daily life, which made learning more mundane. This personal experience motivates me to demonstrate to my students that Math can be fun and relevant to their daily lives!
I approach teaching like how I’d want to learn – enjoyable, engaging and non-punitive. My personality is jovial and nurturing especially to young learners. As an educator, I believe that learning should not be confined to simply scoring well academically, but also extends to values that follow them for many years to come.
